I think what I love best about this cute topiary is that it is inexpensive enough to make for Valentine's, then take it apart and make something else so I don't have to find a place to store it for a year.

I found the tags at Robert's and Joann's. They are kind of hard to find. They are 2.25" tags with the little hole already made. You can order them online too, but then you will have to pay shipping.

Thank you so much for sharing these. I currently live overseas. Halloween is my favorite holiday, and even though there are a lot of expats around us, many are not American, so they don't celebrate it. I love this idea to help my kids have fun and celebrate a little every day.

I used activities that we already do every October and then added a few more. Here is my list (these are not in order):
Put up Halloween Decorations
Make Halloween Cookies
Watch a Haloween Cartoon
Find a surprise in the family room
Make Popcorn Balls
Find Halloween books at the library
Visit a pumpkin patch
Carve pumpkins
Make leaf rubbings
Do a Halloween Craft
Make tootsie pop ghosts
Find a surprise in the living room
Make Halloween eyeball pops (found on The Idea Room)
Go to a corn maze
Read a Halloween book
Do a Halloween Craft
Go see the witches at Gardner Village
Play Halloween games online
Find a surprise in the kitchen
Color a Halloween picture
Wear Halloween socks to school
Deliver Halloween treats to neighbors
Find a surprise in your bedroom
Paint a Halloween picture
Find a surprise in the basement
Go on a color hunt
Do a Halloween maze
Go trick or treating
Paint mini pumpkins
Ask mom for a treat after dinner
Ask dad for a treat after dinner

The "Find a suprrise. . ." activities I hide little Halloween things for my kids to find. I usually get them in dollar sections. This year some of the things I found were Halloween stretchy gloves, Halloween slap bracelets, Halloween necklace kits, and Halloween art kits.

I should tell my dad this! He hates naked barbies and can't figure out why as soon as a kid gets one they undress them and then never put clothes back on. He'd keep sharpies by his desk and make the kids paint clothes on them!!! Great idea!!!
