This was my project on Saturday! I bought these letters from a place called The Wood Connection (www.thewoodconnection.com) through my moms ward. They were unfinished letters. I stained them with a maple stain, then covered them with scrapbook paper using a spray adhesive. Then I sanded the edges down. I think it turned out pretty cute. Although I still can't decide if it matches my living room decor....maybe I'll have to repaint!!!

Those turned out so cute! I have the same set of letters and I still haven't put them together. I do have tons of projects on my blog from the Wood Connection. I love that store. I just can't resist all there cute wood decor! You have just motivated me to do my family now!
ReplyDeleteI love that place. They have so many cute things for not a lot of money either. I have been wanting to go back down and get the family letters just havent had the time. Thanks for the idea with them though.
